- The head can swivel/tilt on a double-sided ball-joint neck.
- Shoulder joints can swing back and forth.
- The arms can swing on a peg-and-socket joint.
- The arms can raise horizontally. (Depending on how you bent, the cables may hinder its articulation.)
- The upper arms can rotate.
- Elbow joints can be bent up to 90 degrees.
- The manipulators can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint if slightly pulled down.
- The waist can rotate 360 degrees.
- The hip joint axis can swivel on the ball-and-socket joint connection.
- The upper thighs can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint, though the backward articulation is limited due to the non-poseable rear skirt armor.
- Front skirt armors can pivot up and down to avoid interference with the leg articulation.
- The legs feature double-jointed knee parts.
- The feet can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint and/or tilt forward/backward.
- Clavicle antennas can flip up and down on each piece.
- The left hand is swappable.
- Any of the weapons can be wielded by Exia's hands (The GN Sword only allows the right hand).
- GN Sword can convert between Rifle and Sword modes.
- The GN Beam Saber hilts can be optionally removed from the shoulder armors if one wishes to display Exia with the solid Beam Saber piece.
- The SB-9 runner from the HG Gundam Astraea Type F (or Gundam Astraea) can attach onto two of the four hilts.
- The GN Shield can only mount onto the left forearm.
- The GN Shield can rotate on the adapter's peg-and-socket joint.
- GN Long & Short Swords can mount onto the waist parts via an adapter.
- Gundam Exia can mount onto any Action Bases (sold separately) by removing the panel for the 3mm hardpoint on the kit's lower crotch
